ROUGH IN LOUISVILLE

I took my sister, Judy Smith, to the airport. What a relief! Things were okay the first 2 days, then got crazy. I came in from KFC, and my sister and mother were bickering. It went from bad to worse. My sister maintains that she had a bad childhood when, in fact, she had a good childhood. My mother is in bad health with Parkinson's and was trying to do her laundry. She overworked. She was depressed and started saying things like she was going to die and no one cared. I could not stand to hear it. I freaked. I said, "I'll show you I care!" and I pretended like I was stabbing myself in my stomach. Of course, it was theatre. I did not even have a knife. My mother crumpled against the wall. She was okay but weak. I helped her up, and she sat in a chair at the table. The bickering between her and my sister continued. It was a hellish night. I finally took my mother and her laundry back to Eden Terrace and put her to bed. The next morning (which is today), we ate breakfast at Bob Evans. Things were better, probably because of the presence of Earl.
